Biography of Wat Nang Gui:
Let us pay respect to the sacred Buddha images and visit those ancient buildings created in the Krung Sri Ayutthaya period, over 400 years ago. Wat Nang Gui is located on the outer part of the west part of the Chao Phraya River. Nang Gui, the creator, a wealthy woman, built this temple on the bank of Chao Phraya river in 1587. From then on, it was ruined by neglect. Until the reign of King Rama 3 of Rattanakosin period, it was renovated.

An abbot created Mae TaKien image when she came to tell Luang Phor in dream and ask lp to make image of her so she can bless people with good luck and wealth. This amulet is Blessed by many holy monks at this temple.
Everyday, many people come to this temple to worship Mai TaKien for luck and Lottery. It was mentioned that mae takien in wat nang kui is strong for fulfilling wishes to the devotees.

This amulet is made from TaKienThong tree of age more than 400 years old. The amulet is specially blessed by many top monks in Ayutthaya province including the current abbot of wat nangkui leading the ceremony and also pra archan tew from wat manee chon kan.
Made from mai takien powder and specially blessed for a period of 3 months.
Comes with a katha to be chanted and a special method for using the mae takien for best result and effects.
